Perdita I eat. But it doesn't get rid of this feeling. This feeling that lurks in my throat. Creeps in my stomach. Makes these beads drip down my forehead. Yet I can only feel them. When I look, they're not there. And all these beautiful giants appear. Gorgeous blue moons beneath my skin. But then they turn ugly. And I look like a bruised apple. An anorexic apple. Because I hate eating. And if eating and bleeding and purging doesn't heal this pain, maybe preventing anything from entering me at all will starve this feeling and no other feelings will ever enter again.
